We invite all IPSERA conference participants to join the Educators’ Workshop (EW), which will take place on Sunday April 19, 2026 in Helsinki (Espoo). The aim of this workshop is to provide a dynamic and collaborative forum for academics, educators and practitioners in the field of Purchasing and Supply Management (PSM) to discuss current trends, research developments and pedagogical practices in PSM education.
Building on the experience of the 2024 and 2025 workshops, which facilitated valuable exchange among participants, the 2026 edition will continue the discussion around the integration of new teaching cases, the role of artificial intelligence in education, and the embedding of sustainability and circular economy principles in both teaching and research. We welcome papers and presentations that reflect on the lessons learned from the implementation of such innovations, provide insights from student and stakeholder feedback, assess the pedagogical impact on ecological and societal transitions, and explore emerging trends and persistent challenges in PSM education.
We especially encourage contributions that present innovative approaches to PSM teaching, highlight immersive and transformative learning practices or offer practical insights into effective and impactful pedagogy. The list of suggested themes mentioned is not exhaustive – we welcome original ideas and proposals that bring fresh perspectives to the workshop.
Should you have any questions or would like to discuss the suitability of your proposed contribution, please do not hesitate to contact the Educators’ Workshop coordinator Dr. Katia Picaud-Bello.
