Dr. Verónica León-Bravo (MSc.) works as Assistant Professor in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at Politecnico di Milano. She got her PhD at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering in Politecnico di Milano. She holds a MSc degree from Ecole des Mines de Nantes (France) in Management of Logistics and Production Systems, and a BSc degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) in Industrial Engineering. Verónica is member of IPSERA since 2013.
Verónica has taught purchasing, supply chain management, logistics and operations management in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Ecuador and in Italy. She participated in diverse research projects with companies in Ecuador and Italy as well. Her research interests are sustainability in supply chains, sustainable sourcing, sustainability performance assessment, with special focus the approach at multiple stages in the food supply chain. Her work has been published in several Supply Chain Management and Sustainability related journals.
