Alessio Ronchini is Assistant Professor at the Politecnico di Milano - Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering. His research interests are related to Purchasing and Supply Management (PSM), Supply Chain Finance and the impact of digital technology adoption. In this context, he has developed and is working on publications that examine the impact of specific technologies, namely Additive Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence, on supply network and chain configurations, processes and performance. Alessio is involved in various teaching activities at different levels for the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. At Ph.D. level he is responsible for the Delphi Method module in the Survey Research Methodology course; at M.Sc. level he is teaching assistant in the Purchasing and Supply Management (PSM) course; at B.Sc. level he is teaching assistant in the Business Process Re-Engineering Laboratory. He also teaches at the POLIMI Graduate School of Management, the Business School of the Politecnico di Milano, in the post-graduate masters courses on Supply Chain Finance, Purchasing and Supply Management and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Alessio is Project Manager of the Supply Chain Finance Observatory at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. He is an active member of several Italian and international academic associations such as the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA), the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) and the Associazione Italiana Ingegneria Gestionale (AiIG).” |
