Special CALL FOR PAPERS

The IPSERA 2025 conference theme is “Room for Talent”. In the dynamic world that we currently live in, we need to find, nurture, and cultivate PSM talent to deal with a multitude of challenges, such as:

  • Giving meaningful substance to PSM’s pivotal role in mitigating the organization’s negative impact on people and planet, and increasing its positive impact
  • Dealing with increasing demands for supply chain transparency
  • Integrating new technologies, including artificial intelligence, in PSM processes
  • Managing trade-offs between quality, cost, sustainability, and risk to maximize value for all stakeholders
  • Building the optimal supply base and connecting supplier solutions to internal customers’ needs

These challenges, both existing and new, require that PSM experts develop a diverse skill set and invest in life-long learning. We invite authors to explicitly reflect on the skills and competencies required to navigate current PSM challenges.
