IPSERA 2026 welcomes three types of paper submissions:

  • Competitive papers: authors are required to submit a full paper (max. 15 pages, excluding references and appendices)
  • Working papers: authors are required to submit an abstract (up to 1500 words) and, if accepted, to submit a full paper (max. 10 pages, excluding references and appendices)
  • Practitioner papers: this is a special track for papers (co)authored by non-academics. Authors are required to submit an abstract (up to 1500 words) and, in case of acceptance, a full paper (max. 10 pages, excluding references and appendices).

Authors should use the IPSERA 2026 paper template which can be downloaded via the links below. The template is not required for the abstract submissions of working papers and practitioner papers.


Please note that the first submitted version must be anonymous.

All types of papers must be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts submission system via this link (opening September 15). Note that you need to be registered in the system before you can submit your abstract/paper.


PREPARE ABSTRACT (Working papers and Practitioner papers)

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of up to 1500 words. Authors are not required to follow the IPSERA template for the abstract submission. The abstract should give an outline of the final paper, indicating the aim of the paper, the theoretical/literature background, method, a brief account of the results, and the conclusions.

The abstract must be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts submission system (opening September 15). All submitted abstracts will undergo double-blind peer review by the scientific committee. Thus, the author's names should not be included in the abstract.

PREPARE A FULL PAPER

The authors must use the IPSERA 2026 paper template (click for Word file or PDF file) for the full papers. Please check the 
Key dates, because late submissions will not be proceed into the review process.

A paper will not be presented at the conference nor published in the proceedings without a conference registration by the corresponding author.

Competitive paper (max. 15 pages excluding references/appendices).
For competitive papers, the authors need to submit a full paper directly, no abstract submission is needed. Papers must be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts submission system
(opening September 15). All submitted competitive papers will undergo double-blind peer review by the scientific committee. Thus, no author names should be included in the initial submission. Authors are expected to revise their papers based on the feedback they receive and submit final versions. Author details must be included in the final paper.

Working papers (max 10 pages excluding references/appendices).
The full paper should be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts submission system by updating your previous abstract submission. Author details must be included in the final paper.

Practitioner papers (max 10 pages excluding references/appendices).
The full paper should be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts submission system by updating your previous abstract submission. Author details must be included in the final paper.
