CALL FOR PDWs AND SPECIAL TRACKS

The IPSERA 2025 conference theme is “Room for Talent”.

In addition to the classic paper presentations, we are open to a number of 'special tracks' and/or 'professional development workshops (PDW)' . A PDW is an interactive session with the aim to develop workshop participants professionally in terms of certain skills, competences, or knowledge. PDWs and Special Tracks can relate to the core theme of the conference and other 'hot issues' in purchasing and supply management and will increase our understanding of grand challenges and emerging and alternative solutions to such grand challenges faced by business and society, helping both profit- and non-profit organizations to address them. 

The standard duration of a PDW is that of one full paper session, i.e. 90 minutes. We assume that a PDW is run as a hybrid session (with the possibility of online participation) unless it is indicated in the application that the PDW can only be run with only in person participants.

Please prepare a proposal of up to two pages in which you explain:

• The purpose of the PDW;
• The setup of the workshop, explaining activities and approximate timelines;
• Who the organizers are, indicating one corresponding organizer;
• If there are special needs regarding furniture and equipment; and
• If online participation is possible.
