For the IPSERA 2020 conference, this means that we will postpone the event to 2021. The IPSERA 2021 Conference will be in Knoxville from 28th March to 31st March. We are currently in the process of organising the details of the postponement and we will inform you as soon as more information is available, please refer to www.ipsera.com for the latest updates. In the meantime, if you have any urgent matters, we kindly ask you to contact the conference organisers at ipsera2020@ipsera.com. The University of Tennessee Supply Chain Department, the IPSERA Conference Committee and IPSERA Executive Committee sends their regrets and apologies for this unexpected postponement. We also apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we hope you understand the remarkable nature of this recent global health issue.
UPDATES:
2020-03-25 Although the 2020 IPSERA conference has been postponed, we still plan to hold the AGM, as we feel it is important to maintain the strong sense of community that the association has. As the current conditions make a physical meeting impossible, we aim to host this online and have done the necessary due diligence to see if this is in accordance with the constitution. We fully understand that members are incredibly busy at the moment with reorganising their own working schedules, so the 2020 AGM will therefore be held using Zoom on Wednesday the 27th May between 14:00 and 16:00 CET. A link to the Zoom-meeting will be emailed to all members closer to the AGM date. As the situation is fast moving and changing, we will continually reassess our plans as we get closer to the proposed date. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions via email to president@ipsera.com, VP@ipsera.com or secretary@ipsera.com.
2020-03-17 Please make your selection below before April 5. If you do not respond, we assume that you select option 1 and that you hence do not request reimbursement and transfer your registration to cover IPSERA 2021.
2020-03-10 Following the postponement of the IPSERA conference in Knoxville to 2021, the IPSERA executive committee offers reimbursement of the conference fee for all registered delegates. To facilitate the administrative process, we would like to learn your preference for one of two options:
- Do not request reimbursement and transfer registration to cover the IPSERA 2021 conference in Knoxville, Tennessee.*
- Request reimbursement of the conference registration fee.
*As a token of appreciation for those who decide to not request reimbursement, your IPSERA membership will be valid up to and including 2021.
Please proceed to the survey HERE to indicate your preference and provide your invoice number etc. for the reimbursement process.
2020-03-05 Following our announcement of the 4th March confirming the postponement of the 2020 IPSERA conference, the organisers and the Executive Committee would firstly like to thank everyone for their understanding and support! We have discussed the questions raised by participants and can now confirm that the proceedings will still be made available, best paper and doctoral dissertation awards will still be given out and that a Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management Special Issue is still planned. We will respond as soon as possible to individual emails that have been sent to the organisers and IPSERA, as we fully understand that there are other areas to discuss further, but hope that the points above address some of the questions raised.
Very respectfully,
The IPSERA 2020 Organising Committee
The IPSERA Executive Committee
