Doctoral workshop: Anni-Kaisa Kähkönen - LUT University

 

Anni-Kaisa Kähkönen joined the IPSERA Executive Committee in March 2018. She is a Professor of Supply Management at LUT University, School of Business and Management, Finland.

Her primary areas of research include value creation in supply management, sustainable supply chain management, supply strategies and supplier relationships. She has published her work, among others, in the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and Supply Chain Management: an International Journal. She serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management and received the Best Reviewer Award 2016 of JPSM.

Anni-Kaisa teaches purchasing and supply management mainly at the Master level in the Master’s programme of Supply Management at LUT but also at the Bachelor’s level. Currently she is the Vice Dean of LUT School of Business and Management.

Anni-Kaisa has been involved in several industrial research projects including companies from different industries. Over the years, she has done close collaboration especially with the food industry companies. Her latest industrial research projects include topics, such as, sustainable and innovative supply management, supply network risks and costs, and value-creative supply management.
