The IPSERA Educator’s Workshop will be exploring all issues to do with Teaching and Learning Purchasing and Supply Management in an On-Line Environment. The developments of COVID-19 and the global pandemic of 2020, have radically shifted how we teach and how students learn, it has also meant academics with no prior experience have had to deliver new modes of high-quality purchasing and supply management education, across many of our Colleges, Universities and third-level institutions.

The purpose of this Educator’s Workshop is to provide insight, for the IPSERA community, into the range of innovative approaches for succeeding in this new on-line environment.

The Educator’s Workshop will consist of presentations and panel sessions from leading PSM scholars and educators providing insight to the challenges and opportunities afforded in an on-line environment. Talks will include:

  • Methods for overcoming on-line fatigue and student engagement in an on-line learning environment
  • Teaching the tricky subject of supply (chain) analytics in an on-line environment

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact the IPSERA Director of Education George Zsidisin
